In 2008 artist and local educator Les Castellanos opened up his home studio to give art lessons to his friends and their children. Word spread and more people wanted to join, and so Mr. Castellanos decided to teach classes on a regular basis. The studio is located in the Village of New Paltz within walking distance of the middle school.
